This week we are starting a new practice booklet during small group. Every week, we will write in what we need to practice for the week. This will help us when we are practicing at home. Mrs. Buehl will check off when we do this and show it to her.

CONDUCTING OUTCOME

For the last couple of weeks, we have been learning how to conduct in 4/4 and ¾ time. We also learned how to cue and cut off, while still conducting. To help us get used to it, and practice, we said our names and addresses while conducting. This Tuesday and Wednesday, we had our conducting outcome. We had to conduct a 4/4 song such as Frere Jacque and Scotland’s Burning in a round. We also had to conduct a ¾ song such as America or German Folk Song. During the conducting outcome, we had to cue in parts and cut them off. Everyone will pass!!! :D ♥♥§§

We played some new music this week. Some of the new pieces are symphony 8, and the blacksmith also the Telemann Sinfonia. We will be playing those and others from past concerts at the capitol!!!
